Our Explorers and Bears preschool classes took advantage of today’s beautiful weather to enjoy a walk through the Shaw neighborhood. The students partnered up and joined their teachers for a walk to Juanita Park to try out a different playground.
Our two year old students develop their fine motor skills by practicing lacing using fun animal shape cut-outs.
Yesterday, the Lions preschool class made Solar S’mores. Each student wrapped the s’mores ingredients in their own aluminum foil packet and then the class let them cook in the sunshine. When the students woke up from their naps, they devoured their delicious s’mores!

Our Classroom Counselor recently read “When Sophie Gets Angry —Really Really Angry” by Molly Bang and discussed with the preschool students what they can do to calm down when they get angry.

Our Lions preschool class made very special Fathers’ Day gifts for the men in their lives. Thanks to a donation from The Home Depot they sported kid-sized work aprons and assembled tool boxes as gifts.
